Note: Users may have to logout of the Zoom Desktop Client and login to it again for some settings to take affect.

Meeting Co-Host

The co-host feature allows you to share hosting privileges with another user in a meeting or webinar. This can be useful to allow another user to manage the administrative side of the meeting, such as muting participants or starting/stopping the recording.
    • From the Zoom web portal and click Settings, scroll to the Co-host option on the Meeting tab and verify that the setting is enabled.

    • The host can make another participant a co-host through the Participants window. Hover over the name of the participant who is going to be a co-host, and choose More. Click Make Co-Host.

Polling

The polling feature for meetings allows you to create single choice or multiple choice polling questions for your meetings. You will be able to launch the poll during your meeting and gather the responses from your attendees. You also have the ability to download a report of polling after the meeting. Polls can also be conducted anonymously, if you do not wish to collect participant information with the poll results.
    • You'll need to first enable Polling from your Zoom profile settings.

    • Go to the Meetings page and click on your scheduled meeting or personal meeting room. From the meeting management page, scroll to the bottom to find the Poll option. Click Add to begin creating the poll.

    • The Polls option will be available in the meeting control bar. You'll be able to launch your Poll from here.

Reporting

Usage: The Usage report option, allows you to generate a list of meetings, participants, and meeting minutes for meetings you have hosted. This option is excellent to use for attendance tracking.
Meeting: The Meetings report option allows you to search for Registration Reports and Poll Reports for a meeting. Select the type of report you need, search by a date range to find the meeting, and then choose to Generate for the report.

Usage (Attendance)

    • Select the date rage of meeting you want to look up.

    • A meeting list will appear with date, time, duration, and participant statistics.

If you click on a number under the Participants column, of the metting list, you will get a dialog with a list of your students with additional information such as Join Time, Leave Time and Duration.
If you have duplicate users, you can check the box "Show unique users" to remove the duplicates. If duplicates still exist then users are signing in different ways.
You can Export the data into Excel for sorting or adjusting.
The "Export with meeting data" option will inlcude main meeting data such as the name of the meeting, date, time, duration, etc.

Meeting

If your Zoom meeting has registration or polling enabled, you can generate polling reports for further analysis.
 
The polling report contains the following information of participants that answered a poll question:
  • Username and email address
  • Date and time they submitted their answer
  • The poll question and the participant's answer
