Document Scanning

Scanning software is very useful for taking an image of a document and convering that into a PDF. This can be instrumental in delivering course material that you don't have a digital copy of or for students to hand in homework digitally that was hand written.

ScanPro

ScanPro is a way to create scans with your iPhone, iPad or Android device. When you scan a document, ScanPro will try to automatically crop the document, straighten it and apply a filter.

Genius Scan - PDF Scanner

Quickly scan your paper documents on the go and export them as multi-page PDF files.
Available for iOS and Android

Notes

With Notes, you can scan documents and add a signature or manually sign a document on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Depending on your version iOS the icon mentioned in the instructions may not be a camera but may be a + sign.

Jamboard

Jamboard is G Suite’s digital whiteboard by Google.

Paper by WeTransfer

Paper by WeTransfer is a tool to sketch, collage, paint or draw.
Only available for iOS.


EBook Library

Overdrive

Overdrive, our Ebook and Audiobook library, is available.
You will need your NetID and password, which for faculty and students is the same as their WiFi username and password.

Utilities

PDF Candy provides users with free online and offline tools for working with PDF files (converting, splitting, merging, rotating, etc). You can upload files from Dropbox, Google Drive or simply by drag and dropping them from your computer.
