Hunter College Campus Schools’ Summer Enrichment Program will run again for its 36th year in July, 2021! We accept students who are entering grades 1-7 from the New York area, nationally, and internationally.
Due to the ongoing health crisis, we will be conducting our program virtually again this year. It is the nature of the era we currently live in that circumstances can change frequently. In order to maintain a level of consistency, we are able to confidently offer a robust online program for this summer without fear of having to make dramatic changes with little advance notice. We have an incredible team of educators who are committed to providing the best possible learning experience for our students.
Tuition for the program is $1250, which includes a $100 non-refundable application fee. We are no longer accepting registration by mail. Our online registration begins March 15th and the deadline is April 26th. Admissions is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Access to the link for registration will be available on 03/15/20. We encourage you to submit your application as early as possible to increase your child’s chance of acceptance. Because class sizes are limited, we cannot guarantee placement into our program. As soon as a grade is filled, the application will close. As a reminder, applications will not be considered without payment of the application fee.
The program will be in session from Tuesday July 6th through Thursday July 29th. The program is held Monday through Thursday each week.
NEW THIS YEAR! We will be offering our program in two separate formats. We will be offering our regular full day option, which will provide students with classes beginning at 9:00am and ending at 2:30pm. We will also be offering a morning program option which will be from 9:00am until 12:00pm. The morning program will be offered for a reduced price of $750, which includes a $100 non-refundable application fee.
Each class will be taught by professional teachers in the following subjects: STEM, the arts, reading & writing. Our theme for the summer is “Sharing to Create Community”. This year, the students will be challenged to consider how they can take what they learn in the classroom and creatively share this with the rest of the Summer Program community.
