  Spring 2023 Season

  IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL SPORTS

  • ALL STUDENTS NEED A MEDICAL AND PARENTAL FORM. The medical form must be signed and dated by a doctor. Both the medical and parental forms can be found on the Athletic Forms web page and should be given directly to the coach. Please note: If you submitted a medical form for the fall season, only a parental form is required for the winter season.
  • Students are expected to attend all tryout dates. 

   

  SPRING 2023 VARSITY TRYOUT DATES: Grades 9-12

  Girls Fencing: March 1,2 and March 7,8 – Hunter Fencing Room (café) – 3:30-5pm

  Boys Tennis: Friday March 3 and March 4 – from 6-8pm – Sat. March 4 from 5-7pm - Roosevelt Island tennis center. (MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS)

  Boys Baseball: March 1,2,3 – time TBA.  See Coach Harper

  Girls Softball: March 1,2,3 – 3:30-5pm – Hunter Gym

  Boys Volleyball: March 1,2,3 – 5-7pm – Hunter Gym

  Boys and Girls Outdoor Track and Field: Outdoor Season - The season will start the week March 6,7,8 – after school. Please find coach Adams/Johnson in the gym office for all info on tryouts

  Boys Lacrosse: March 1,2,3 – Randall’s Island

  Girls Varsity and JV Lacrosse: March 1,2,3 – Randall’s Island – Both JV and Varsity will be together the first three weeks

  COED Ultimate:  See coach Potter for sign up.  March 6,7,8 after school

  Girls Wrestling: March 6 and March 9 – 3:30-5pm - B46 (basement)

  Girls Badminton: March 1,2,3 before school – Hunter Gym – see Coach Cheng for times

  COED Golf:  March 7,9 – Chelsea Piers – 4-5pm
   

  SPRING 2023 MIDDLE SCHOOL TRYOUT DATES: Grades 6-8

  SIGN UP AND INFORMATION MEETING ON THURSDAY, MARCH 9 – 3:30-4pm – Hunter Gym 

  COED MS Outdoor Track (Grades 7/8 only): Meeting - Thursday, March 9 – 3:30pm – GYM
  Tryouts will be March 13, March 16 – 3:30-5pm

  Tryouts will be March 16 and March 20 - 3:30-5:30

  The Boys and Girls Varsity Indoor track teams will be in the Borough Championships - Sunday Feb 12 - 12:30pm - Armory Track - 168th and Broadway.  
  
  The Boys Varsity Swim team competes in the City Championship A opens - Lehman College - Saturday and Sunday 

  The Boys Varsity Wrestling Team competes in the PSAL City Championships !!
