Digital literacy is essential for student success. Appropriate technology tools and network resources are made available to students and staff to increase educational engagement through fostering creativity, enhancing productivity, facilitating research and promoting communication and collaboration with others.

When you access or use this site, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with the schools’ policies. All users are expected to act in a responsible, ethical and legal manner in accordance with CUNY/Hunter College/HCCS policies, accepted rules of network etiquette, and federal, state and local laws. Use of technology at school is a privilege and its benefits are highly dependent on an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. Failure to act responsibly may result in disciplinary consequences, including the removal of technology user privileges.

The Hunter College Campus School complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). COPPA requires that website operators never knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent.

HCCS collects, from parents, the email address to be used by the school to contact students under the age of 13. We may provide the collected information to employees, agents or service providers acting on HCCS behalf in connection with authorized school activities, but we will only provide those employees, agents or service providers with the personal information they need to perform their function for us. We, however, do not at this time control the use of information by such third parties.

HCCS parents and legal guardians may review and edit their child’s personal information . Parents and guardians may ask to have the information deleted and refuse to allow any further collection or use of the child’s information. This website contains confidential information—information that is private to the students, parents and staff of Hunter College Campus Schools.
