HEAT Club presents an informative and advocacy centered 2023 CLIMATE DAY

Congrats to HEAT Club and advisors Mr. Pinkerton, Ms. Levy and Ms. Jawanda for creating a fascinating series of speakers to explore issues of advocacy, education and climate change.  Each period hosted a different set of speakers and topics. Period 2 featured an activist panel with Dr. Philip Kahn, Shiv Shoin, Jason Burke.  Period 3 saw Mr. Steve Fox from the NYC Comptroller's Office, period 4 brought Dr. Oren Pizmony-Levy from Columbia University and period 6 featured Somini Sengupta, the international climate reporter for The New York Times.
