Congratulations to 7th grade HCHS student Lora W for her third place win in the Manhattan Spelling Bee!
On Wednesday, January 25th, approximately 40 students with potential from 15 schools gathered at the High School of Art and Design for the Manhattan Spelling Bee. The event celebrates the oft-overlooked art of spelling and the profundity of words and language.

The top five spellers from the Manhattan Spelling Bee will go on to participate in the Citywide Bee in a few weeks/months; so we wish Lora W the best of luck in the next round!
