HCHS Boys Swim Team swam to another win, 51 to 31
The HCHS Boys Swim Team swam to another win, 51 to 31, when they hosted James Monroe at Hunter College on Thursday. Hunter came away with eleven 1st place, seven 2nd place, and three 3rd place finishes, and swam for five more PSAL Open qualifying times. 
 
In first place finishes were:
  • 200 Medley Relay - Brian Gerevits, Blake Jamilkowski, Aaron Wong, Charles Stamm - 1:59.96
  • 200 Free - Jaison Jain - 2:20.55
  • 200 Individual Medley - Aaron Wong - 2:52.99
  • 50 Free - Blake Jamilkowski - 24.74
  • 100 Fly - Jaison Jain - 1:11.77
  • 100 Free - Charles Vogel - 59.54
  • 500 Free - Malcolm Thompson - 6:14.54
  • 200 Free Relay - Malcolm Thompson, Aaron Wong, Jaison Jain, Blake Jamilkowski - 1:47.60
  • 100 Back - Roland Fang - 1:03.71
  • 100 Breast - Blake Jamilkowski - 1:09.65
  • 400 Free Relay - Edward Zhou, Roland Fang, Brian Gerevits, Charles Vogel - 4:05.30
Hunter took 2nd place in the 200 Free (Dylan Li), 50 Free (Brian Gerevits), 100 Free (Minwoo Kim), 500 Free (Dylan Li), 200 Free Relay (Eric Hu, Minwoo Kim, Charles Stamm, Nathaniel Askanase), 100 Back (Maciej Zielonka) and 400 Free Relay (Malcolm Thompson, Dylan Li, Charles Stamm, Minwoo Kim)
 
In 3rd place finishes Hunter had the 200 Medley Relay (Maciej Zielonka, Edward Zhou, Roland Fang, Eric Hu), 200 Individual Medley (Eric Hu) and 100 Breast (Edward Zhou) 
 
Qualifying for the 2015 PSAL A Division Boys Swimming and Diving Championships in new events were:
  • Blake Jamilkowski - 50 Free
  • Brian Gerevits - 50 Free
  • Malcolm Thompson - 500 Free
  • Blake Jamilkowski - 100 Breast
  • Edward Zhou - 100 Breast
