HCHS students finish 3rd at the Jr High National Chess Tournament

12 members of the Hunter Chess team headed to Atlanta over the break with Coach Farai Mandizha to do battle with elite chess teams from across the country. They finished third in the K9 division!

The team was Connor D, Alex H, Darren J, John M, Marcus M, Ella M, Bradley R, Hamilton S, Dylan S, Brian W, India Y, and Daniel Y. Special congratulations to Ellas who was second in her ratings class.
