HCHS FRC Team 3419 Shines at the Hudson Valley Regional Competition

From March 19–21, the HCHS's Team 3419 competed in FIRST® Robotics Competition, at the Hudson Valley Regional in Suffolk, NY and showcased their innovation and teamwork . Competing against top teams, HCHS advanced to the playoff selections as part of the 6th Alliance, demonstrating resilience and strategic excellence before being eliminated in the lower bracket.

A major highlight of the competition was earning the Creativity Award, sponsored by Rockwell Automation. This award recognizes a robotic design that introduces a unique and effective concept to enhance gameplay strategy.

As described by the judges:
“When this bot is on the field, it is sure to stir up a storm. Even without a hopper, they can keep a steady stream of fuel flowing. This team can certainly ‘keep calm and unwind’ knowing that their design is unique and effective. Way to go, Team 3419!”

With this exciting achievement, Team 3419 is gearing up for their next challenge, the NYC Regional Competition, taking place April 10–12 in Washington Heights Armory. Join us!
Special thanks to our Corporate Advisor, Alliance Bernstein, mentor Adam Salem, and HCHS advisor Ms. Ong Ante for their continued support and guidance.
