Two HCHS students are Regeneron STS FINALISTS!

Congratulations to 2026 STS Regeneron Finalists Kaya P. and Siddharth P.!
The Regeneron Science Talent Search 2026 finalists represent 35 schools across 15 states. They are competing for more than $1.8 million, with a top prize of $250,000. Finalists were selected from 300 scholars and 2,612 entrants, the largest pool of applicants since 1967, based on the originality and creativity of their scientific research, as well as their achievement and leadership both inside and outside of the classroom.

Kaya and Sid are the only finalists from NYC.  We are so proud of them and we wish them the best during the weekend of March 7-8 in Washington, DC during the finalist round.

Kaya's project title: Ozempic® and Counterfeit Ozempic in Novel Triple-Readout Drosophila Model With Type-2 Diabetes and Obesity

Siddharth's project title: Development of N-glycan Microarrays as Sensors for Glycan Binders

Congratulations to the Science Research Program Advisors, Mr. Park and Ms. Gonzalez and the entire HCHS Science Department.
