Mission Statement

Hawk’s Nest afterschool program provides a safe, secure and comprehensive quality program to HCES students grades K-6. Our program is designed to accommodate working parents, the physical and emotional needs of each individual child while promoting social interaction, physical development, and intellectual growth.

Program Overview

Hawk’s Nest is the after-school program here at Hunter College Elementary School. The program offers a wide array of enrichment courses for Hunter’s gifted to take part in as well as Hawk Hall for homework completion, with the assistance of a Hawk's Nest staff member. Hawk’s Nest continues to facilitate the growth and development of our intellectually gifted students in an environment that fosters academic, creative, physical and social progress through hands-on activities and peer interaction. Spring Registration begins Monday, December 17th, 2018 at 6:30 PM.
Payment in full due Friday, January 11th, 2019 at 11:59 PM.
