George Washington proved to be no match for the HCHS Boys Swim Team! 
George Washington proved to be no match for the HCHS Boys Swim Team!  Hunter finished the meet with a final score of 51 to 40, and came away with first place in every event, eight 2nd place finishes, and three 3rd place finishes. Despite the warm pool, and the slower times, six swimmers also swam qualifying times for the PSAL Division A Opens, to be held the weekend of February 7-8, 2015 at the Flushing Meadows Corona Park Aquatic Center.

Hunter also took 2nd Place in the 200 Medley Relay (Malcolm Thompson, Jason Yu, Christopher Chung, Jaison Jain), 200 Free (Charles Vogel), 100 Fly (Jaison Jain), 500 Free (Charles Vogel), 200 Free Relay (Jaison Jain, Blake Jamilkowski, Maciej Zielonka, Nathaniel Askanase), 100 Back (Christopher Chung), 100 Breast (Edward Zhou) and 400 Free Relay (Alan Zhou, Nathaniel Askanase, Jason Yu, Luke Benson)
 
 
For 3rd place finishes we had 200 IM (Minwoo Kim), 100 Fly (Jaison Jain) and 100 Free (Edward Zhou)
 
 
Qualifying for the 2015 PSAL A Division Boys Swimming and Diving Championships: 
  • Maciej Zielonka - 200 Free
  • Blake Jamilkowski - 200 IM
  • Blake Jamilkowski - 100 Fly
  • Malcolm Thompson - 100 Free
  • Roland Fang - 500 Free
  • Aaron Wong - 100 Back
  • Brian Gerevits - 100 Free (first leg of the 400 free relay) 
 
Some of our swimmers also qualified for the PSAL Opens at the Roosevelt Swim Meet and those are:
