HCHS wins 2013 BLACKBOARD award for SPORTS!

Hunter College High School received a 2013 New York City Blackboard Award for Excellence in Education in recognition of outstanding student participation and achievement in our sports program!  HCHS had previously won a 2008 Blackboard Award as an outstanding public high school.  For more details about this year’s Blackboard Awards honorees, see http://www.blackboardawards.com/schools_honorees_profiles.php
Monday night, Dr. Tony Fisher, with Athletic Director Neil Potter, accepted the 2013-2014 Blackboard Award for Sports.  The Blackboard Awards honor excellence in local education in Public, Private, Charter and Parochial Schools.  Campus School Director Dean Ketchum, PE Chairperson Robert Gaudenzi, Assistant Principals, coaches, teachers, student athletes and parents attended the celebration.
