Congrats Middle School Math Counts!

On Saturday, 2/4, 12 members of the Hunter Middle School Math Team (Emmett B, Chengtian C, Chloe C, Akshay C, Alexander H, Daniel J, Max L, Martin L, Benjamin L, Kieran T, Jane X, Ling Hui Johanna Y) competed in the Manhattan Chapter competition. After an exciting day of problem solving, Hunter walked away with the following honors:

COUNTDOWN ROUND: Daniel J - 3rd Place and Jane X - Champion
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: Alexander H - 10th Place, Max L - 6th Place, Akshay Chokshi - 5th Place, Martin L - 4th Place, Daniel J - 2nd Place
TEAM RESULTS: #1 in Manhattan

As a result of Hunter's fine showing, Hunter's official team (Akshay C, Daniel J, Max L, Jane X), Martin L and Alexander H will all compete in the MATHCOUNTS State competition in March in Saratoga Springs.
