Hunter College President Jennifer Raab speaks with HCES 3rd grade

President Raab visited Ms. Kruvi and Mr. Barlow's 3rd grade classes to discuss the NYC Landmarks Commission last week.
On Tuesday, President Raab joined the 3rd grade to present on the NYC Landmark Commission and to discuss her time as Chair of the Commission.  She shared the NYC history of the Landmark Preservation movement and discussed with the students their research into the original armory wall on Madison Ave. and its relationship to HCCS, the neighborhood and its role in our City's history.  Thanks to Ms. Kruvi and Mr. Barlow for inviting President Raab to spend time with our 3rd grade classes and special thanks to President Jennifer Raab (HCHS Class of '73) for answering all the questions from the students who embodied their project roles as urban planners, architects, neighbors and Hunter College community members.
