HCHS participates in Honorary Doctorate ceremony for Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan

On Friday September 21st Hunter College President conferred an honorary doctorate on Justice Elena Kagan (HCES '71, HCHS '77).  It was an extraordinary opportunity to hear from Justice Kagan about her educational experiences at the Hunter College Campus Schools and her astonishing career and life as a US Supreme Court Judge.  It was an inspirational day for the 11th and 12th grade students who attended the event and for Hannah O. who participated in the hooding ceremony and was able to ask questions during the talk back.
