Our Hunter College High School chess players delivered a strong performance at the 2026 All-Girls National Chess Championship in Chicago this weekend.
Competing against top teams from across the country, students demonstrated focus, discipline, and strong competitive play across multiple divisions.

In addition to team success, several students earned notable individual standings within their sections, reflecting both their preparation and continued growth as competitive players.
Throughout the tournament, students showed consistency, resilience, and strong sportsmanship in a highly competitive field. Their performance reflects the strength and depth of the program at the high school level.
