The HCHS Horticultural Society welcomed the fall season with a campus planting day, bringing students together to help beautify and care for Hunter's outdoor spaces. Students planted daffodil bulbs for spring blooms, winter cabbage, and cyclamens, adding seasonal color and new life to the campus grounds.
Elementary school students from Hawks Nest also joined HCHS students as volunteers, working side by side and contributing to the day's activities.
A special thank-you to the Horticultural Society members, Elena Van Schendel and all student volunteers whose enthusiasm and hard work made the planting day a success. Through hands-on experiences like these, students take an active role in caring for their campus and creating a greener school environment.
