Hunter Student Attempts to Set New Guinness World Record

Sean K. ’26 Attempts to Click His Way Into the Record Books
On Saturday, June 13, Hunter College High School Class of 2026 graduate Sean K. accomplished something extraordinary by making an attempt at setting a new Guinness World Record for the Most Mouse Clicks in One Minute.

Sean recorded an astonishing 811 mouse clicks in just 60 seconds, unofficially surpassing the previous Guinness World Record of 760 clicks, which was set earlier this year by professional gamer Yiğit Arslan (Yigox) of Türkiye. Sean's attempt exceeded the previous mark by 51 clicks; he awaits official verification by Guinness that he has established a new record.  Result verification can take 2-3 months.  

The record attempt was conducted under official Guinness World Records guidelines, with Mr. Potter serving as one of the official witnesses of the attempt.

Congratulations to Sean on this incredible display of speed, focus, and determination. We look forward to celebrating this outstanding achievement as it officially becomes part of Guinness World Records history.
