Hunter Researchers Earn International Recognition at Regeneron ISEF

Hunter College High School students recently represented New York City at the 2026 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Phoenix, Arizona, earning international recognition for their research.
  • Kaya P. earned 1st Place in the Biochemistry Category. She also received a Special Award from TÜBİTAK for excellence in scientific innovation and research.
  • Ethan G. received a Special Award from The Knowledge Society for outstanding work applying emerging technologies to global challenges.
Students attended the event alongside finalists from across the region as part of “Team Terra,” building connections with fellow young scientists from around the world. Congratulations to Kaya P., Ethan G., and all of Hunter’s ISEF participants on this incredible achievement!
