Common Circles: Student Work Featured at the Museum of Jewish Heritage
We are proud to share that HS Social Studies teacher Jana Lucash and HCHS student Melody Z. have work featured in the Museum of Jewish Heritage’s current exhibition, The Common Circles Experience, on view through June 28th.
The exhibition explores themes of shared humanity, identity, belonging, and memory, inviting visitors to reflect on how we understand one another across time and experience. Through interactive installations, photography, and storytelling, the exhibit challenges viewers to look beyond first impressions and consider the layered complexity of individual lives.
As part of this powerful experience, Melody Z.’s work is included in a reflection on self-portraiture and identity in the face of changing time, contributing to the exhibition’s broader exploration of how personal narratives shape collective understanding. Her work joins a dynamic space designed to encourage empathy, dialogue, and deeper historical awareness.
If you are able, we encourage members of the HCHS community to visit the exhibition located at Edmond J. Safra Plaza, 36 Battery Place, before it closes on June 28, 2026.
