Division B Science Olympiad HS Team Achieves Historic Performance at States Competition
The HCHS Division B Science Olympiad team competed at the State Competition in Syracuse on Friday, April 24 – Saturday, April 25, joining more than forty teams from across the region. The team delivered its strongest performance to date at the state level in Hunter Div B history.
Students earned a total of eight medals, with standout results across multiple events:
- 2nd Place – Boomilever
- 3rd Place – Write It Do It
- 4th Place – Codebusters
- 5th Place – Disease Detectives
- 5th Place – Entomology
- 5th Place – Machines
- 5th Place – Water Quality
- 10th Place – Remote Sensing
This achievement reflects months of preparation, collaboration, and dedication across the team.
