Hunter Hawks boys varsity basketball delivered a statement win on Friday night, defeating MLK HS 65–47 to move to 9–2 in league play. The Hawks were led by Player of the Game junior Lev Brisman, who scored 14 points, while senior captain Dylan Cano continued his dominant season with another double-double, finishing with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Co-Player of the Game honors went to junior Maxim Schwartzman for his strong all-around play.
Next up, Hunter faces a huge matchup for second place in the division and a chance to qualify for the Borough Championship when the Hawks take on Environmental Studies HS on Friday, January 23 at 5:00 PM. GO HAWKS!! 🦅
