On May 16th, the HCES courtyard transformed into a lively carnival space as the PTA hosted its annual Carnival. Staff, families, and community members came together for a joyful day packed with energy, laughter, and a lot Hunter Hawks spirit.
Students and families enjoyed an exciting range of activities including mini golf, cornhole, a lollipop toss, sand art, tie-dye stations, and face painting. Bounce houses lined 95th Street between Madison and Park Avenue, transforming the whole block into a vibrant outdoor play space filled with energy and joy. Guests also enjoyed favorites from the Shake Shack food truck, along with refreshing drinks and snacks.
A special highlight of the day was welcoming Project Happy, a Saturday program supporting children with disabilities, as they joined us for their final session of the year.
A big thank you to the PTA, volunteers, staff, and families who helped bring the carnival to life. It was a wonderful reminder of the strong, joyful HCES community we are so proud to be part of.
