HCHS hosted its Annual Spring Auction Gala, “Secret Garden…an evening where dreams bloom,” at Tavern on the Green, bringing together members of the Hunter community for an unforgettable evening of celebration, connection, and joy.
Incoming 7th grade families were warmly invited to a complimentary welcome toast, where they had the opportunity to meet fellow parents, faculty, and school leadership, including Principal Dr. Tony Fisher and Director Lisa Siegmann, while beginning to build lasting connections within the Hunter community. Families who wished to continue the evening were also invited to enjoy the full Gala experience, featuring hors d'oeuvres, drinks, entertainment, and silent and live auctions in support of the programs that enrich student life at Hunter.
The evening featured live music from Hunter’s Jazz Ensemble, a DJ that kept the dance floor going throughout the night, and memorable performances by our own Luke Batson, Michael Stratechuk, and even Dr. Fischer on harmonica. During the evening, Dr. Fischer spoke passionately about the importance of robotics, debate, and theatre, highlighting the creativity, confidence, collaboration, and leadership these programs inspire.
With elegant décor, music, dancing, and heartfelt moments shared throughout the night, the “Secret Garden” Gala was a truly beautiful and enriching experience for all who attended, a celebration of the vibrant, welcoming, and showcased the supportive spirit that makes Hunter so special!
A huge thank you to Hayrim Byun & Roseanne Almanzar, HCHS PTA Co-Presidents, for helping make this magical evening such a tremendous success!
