6th Grade Shines in Into the Woods Jr.

Lights up on an unforgettable performance! The HCES 6th Grade proudly presented Into the Woods Jr. on Thursday, May 14th, bringing fairytales to life with incredible energy, creativity, and talent. From captivating musical numbers to outstanding performances, our 6th grade students wowed audiences and showcased months of hard work and dedication on stage.

Adding to the excitement, students had the special opportunity to connect with the creative legacy behind the show through a visit from Into the Woods book writer James Lapine.

Featuring music and lyrics by the legendary Stephen Sondheim, this magical production was co-directed by Hannah G. and Andrew W. through Inside Broadway and made possible through NYC Council and CASA Program funding.
