HCHS 71st Annual Washington Seminar on Government in Action

Twenty-five HCHS students were selected to participate in the SY 25-26 Washington Seminar.  The students, along with advisors Mr. Cartwright, Mr. Joffe and Ms. Lucash, spent four days in our nation's capital speaking with elected officials and political experts.  The participants had the opportunity to meet with program alumni, explore the national mall and visit an Embassy during the busy days.  Principal Dr. Fisher was able to join the group for part of the trip as well.  Congratulations to all the participants, and thanks to the advisors, the Social Studies and the HCHS Alumnae/i Association for making this terrific program possible.
