Roots to Boroughs: MSA x MENAC Present “Our Culture in NYC"
The Muslim Student Alliance (MSA) and the Middle Eastern North Africa Club (MENAC) came together for their second annual collaborative showcase, Roots to Boroughs: Our Culture in NYC, held on Friday, April 17, 2026.
This vibrant, student-led event celebrated the richness and diversity of cultures across New York City through a dynamic lineup of performances and presentations. The program featured spoken word, traditional and contemporary dance, student interviews, a fashion show, and musical performances, each offering a unique perspective on identity, heritage, and community.
Through powerful storytelling and artistic expression, students highlighted the ways culture lives and evolves across boroughs, connecting personal roots to the broader NYC experience.
A special thank you to faculty advisors Ms. Caram and Madame De La Ossa for their guidance and support in bringing this meaningful event to life.
