A Celebration of Good

Hunter College Elementary School proudly celebrated A Celebration of Good, a special performance honoring the 50th anniversary of the National Dance Institute (NDI).

Since 1993, NDI has been a cherished part of the Hunter experience, inspiring students through dance, music, and a love of learning. Through a close partnership between NDI artists and HCES's fourth-grade classroom teachers, students spent months preparing for A Celebration of Good. Directed by Arthur Frederic, with choreography by Arthur Frederic and Lexi Viernes and musical supervision by Jonathan Smith, the performance showcased their hard work, creativity, and joy on stage.
