Hunter Students Take Center Stage in Annual Theatre Practicum Showcase

Hunter’s annual Theatre Practicum Showcase put student talent, creativity, and leadership on full display as students in grades 9–12 presented four one-act plays for the Hunter community.

The Theatre Practicum elective, taught by Dr. Rebecca Deans, offers students a unique opportunity to explore every aspect of theatrical production. Throughout the semester, students take on roles as directors, designers, and performers, gaining hands-on experience in bringing a script from page to stage.

The showcase celebrated months of hard work, collaboration, and artistic exploration. From directing and stage design to performance and production, students demonstrated the creativity, dedication, and leadership that make Hunter's theater program such a vibrant part of school life.
