CONGRATULATIONS to our MS Chess National Champions!

Our 7th and 8th grade chess team finished in 1st place at the National Middle School Chess Championship, winning by 2 full points after a dominant national performance.

The team included: Bryan L. (8th), Arabella F. (8th), Anay V. (8th), Kenji G. (7th), Bryson W. (8th), Leqi H. (7th), Warren L. (7th), Santi F. (7th), Mason Z. (7th), Jeremy Y. (8th), Owen M. (8th), and Seojin P. (8th).

Our newly minted International Master Bryan L. (8th grade) earned the individual national title with a perfect 7–0 score. He was brilliantly supported by the entire team, in particular by Women’s Candidate Master Arabella F., who delivered her best performance to date and finished in 7th place overall.

Also, Anay V. (8th grade) earned an individual class rating award.

BIG THANKS to coaches Grandmaster Mac Molner and FIDE Master Sunil Weeramantry for their leadership and support throughout the tournament.
