HCHS Student Named National Finalist in JFK Profile in Courage Essay Contest
Hunter College High School proudly congratulates Theodore K., a junior, for being named a finalist in the 2026 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest, a national competition hosted by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Foundation that recognizes outstanding student writing on acts of political courage.
Theodore’s essay profiled former New York State Senator Stephen M. Saland and was selected as one of three finalists nationwide, earning a $1,000 award.
