Celebrating Phoebe M. ’30

Congratulations to our HCHS 9th grader Phoebe M., who has been named to the Top 300 of the 2026 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge!
Selected from nearly 2,000 applicants nationwide, Phoebe was recognized for her STEM research project, “Microfibers in Domestic Laundering and Solutions to Reduce,” which explores ways to reduce microfiber pollution from household laundry.

The Junior Innovators Challenge is the nation’s premier STEM competition for middle school students. We are proud to celebrate Phoebe’s accomplishment!
