On June 12, family, friends, faculty, and staff gathered in the Hunter College Assembly Hall to celebrate the accomplishments of the Hunter College High School Class of 2026.
The program featured a class speech by Natalie V. Graduates and guests also enjoyed a special musical performance of Summertime by George Gershwin, arranged by Jimmy Carroll and performed by members of the HCHS Junior class.
A highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of distinguished alumnus Christopher Hayes ’97, award-winning journalist, author, and television host. 2026 Thomas Hunter Award Winners, Dylan, C. and Kaya P. presentedHayes with this honor for his accomplishments and contributions to journalism and public discourse, as well as his enduring commitment to the Hunter community.
The ceremony concluded with the HCHS Alma Mater, conducted by Micheline B. and sung by the graduating class. Special thanks to the HCHS Music Department faculty for their contributions to this memorable event.
