Hunter Soccer Defeats National Number 5 Ranked MLK

For the second straight year, Hunter's boys' soccer team upset number 5 (In New York State) MLK. The Hawks held off an early attack from MLK throughout the first half with clutch saves from goalkeeper Lukas Christ. Then, in the 62nd minute, Jaeyoung Chung assisted Julian Strong to set up a beautiful goal to give Hunter the lead 1-0. It would be all that the Hawks would need.

Then, in the 73rd minute, captain Abisayo Abe converted a beautiful free kick to give the hawks a second goal.
