A Celebration of Tradition, Talent, and Community at Hunter College High School
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Hunter College High School held its annual Convocation in the Hunter College Assembly Hall, bringing together students, faculty, and families to celebrate achievement, community, and tradition!
The program featured remarks from Mr. Adisa and Dr. Fisher, followed by the Senior Gift Presentation from Eva G., Scarlet D., and Atticus R. Student creativity was highlighted through the BSU/PBS video created by Cherish A., Emma W., Natalie V., and Eloise J. along with striking visual and multimedia presentations throughout the ceremony.
Musical performances included the Junior Chorus, directed by Micheline Beaudry, performing “O Occhi Manza Mia,” and the Senior Chorus, directed by Robby Randall, performing “Landslide,” both accompanied by AP Art slideshows.
Additionally, volunteer Awards were presented by Irv Kagan, the Miller Award by Dr. Fisher, and the Thomas Hunter Memorial Award presented by Ms. Prat. The ceremony concluded with the performance of the Alma Mater, closing Convocation 2026 in a spirit of reflection, pride, and community.
