HCHS congratulates our 5 STS Regeneron Scholars

Congratulations (& good luck!)to our five STS Regeneron Scholars (formerly the Westinghouse/INTEL STS) Semi-finalists!
Our five HCHS students were among the three hundred high school seniors representing 177 high schools in 35 states named as scholars in the Regeneron Science Talent Search. Each of the 300 scholars and their schools will be awarded $2,000.  Formerly known as the Westinghouse, then the INTEL Science Talent Search, this is considered the oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors.  

We are very proud of our scientists and their extraordinary work and we wish them well as their submissions are considered for the next stage of the competition, becoming one of the 40 finalists who will compete in Washington, D.C. in March.  Special congratulations to the HCHS Science Department faculty, and the Science Research Coordinators, Ms. Reiss and Mr. Frankel!
