HCHS RoHawks win Excellence In Engineering Award at NYC FIRST Robotics Regional

Congrats to HCHS RoHawks team 3419 for a fantastic performance at the NYC FIRST Robotics Regional Competition on April 6-7-8 at the Fort Washington Armory. Team 3419 made it to the semifinals and won the Excellence in Engineering Award for the robot.  We also are thrilled at the very special honor conferred on our Alliance Bernstein mentor of 11+ years (!) Mr. Adam Salem:  the student nominated Woodie Flowers Mentorship Award which recognizes FIRST Robotics mentors who lead, inspire and empower using excellent communication skills. Congratulations Adam and the whole team, with special thanks to our faculty advisor, Ms. Ong Ante and our PTA sponsors.
