Congratulations to the honored HCHS performers in the Roger Rees Awards for Excellence

The Broadway Education Alliance (BEA) honored HCHS students both for individual performances and in recognition for our outstanding high school choir.  These honors are presented as part of the annual Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance celebration of performing arts education programs offered in schools throughout the Greater New York area.  Special thanks to faculty advisors Ms. Byrne and Mr. Randall!
Students who participated were adjudicated by a panel of industry professionals to become finalists, and solo performers were able to participate in coaching sessions and attend panel sessions with industry experts on topics like, "Careers in Theatre"
 
Kamila K. won multiple scholarships through The 1st Annual New Faces 2021 for Excellence in Solo Performance category, including the highest scholarship of $15,000 for Musical Theatre Performance from the Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts, as well as a full scholarship to the Rider University Pre-College Musical Theatre Institute.
